Fading Glory explores the beauty of flowers beyond their moment of perfection. As petals soften and colour deepens, the work shifts attention from freshness to transformation.
Using drifting dry ice smoke, the flowers are briefly veiled and re-revealed, suggesting breath, memory, and the passing of time. Two speedlight flashes sculpt both form and atmosphere, preserving colour while freezing moments that would otherwise vanish.
Rather than documenting decay, this series honours what remains. These flowers are no longer at their peak, yet they carry a different kind of presence — quieter, heavier, and more complex.
Beauty does not disappear with time. It changes character.
